This board is built around solid cherry, prized for its smooth grain and warm reddish tones that deepen and mellow with age. Accent strips of walnut and wenge add rich contrast: walnut brings chocolate-brown depth, while wenge, a dense African hardwood, adds near-black tones with fine, subtle grain lines. Together, the three woods create a refined, layered look that works as an everyday prep board or an elegant serving piece for entertaining. Each strip is hand-selected and carefully fitted for tight, clean glue lines that let the natural color and grain of every wood show.
