Our Story
Leaf and Log Woodworks began with a simple idea: good wood shouldn't go to waste. What started as weekend project work with reclaimed wood — old barn boards, scrap lumber, pieces other people had given up on — quickly became a passion for giving discarded materials a second life. Every knot, nail hole, and weathered edge told a story, and turning that waste into something useful felt like the whole point. Sustainability wasn't an afterthought; it was the foundation the business was built on.
As the craft grew, so did the materials. Alongside reclaimed wood, we began working with rich, natural hardwoods like walnut, maple, and cherry, using their deep grain and warm tones to create end-grain cutting boards, home decor, and other pieces built to be used and admired for years. Today, Leaf and Log Woodworks blends that same reclaimed-wood ethos with fine hardwood craftsmanship, offering custom furniture and decor made to last — because whether it's a salvaged plank or a fresh-cut board, every piece deserves to become something worth keeping.
